At least one person died in a shooting on Wednesday afternoon at a Super Bowl victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs and at least 21 people were injured, including 11 people between the ages of 6 and fifteen.
Three people have been detained by police following the incident. Speaking after the shooting, Kansas City police chief Stacey Graves said she was ‘angry … the people who come to this celebration should expect a safe environment’.
