France fired back in the 27th minute after a cross to the center of the box and a beautiful Adrien Rabiot header for a 1-1 tie. Oliver Giroud struck again at the 32nd minute for France to take the lead over Australia at 2-1. The second half commenced with France holding the edge and Australia struggling to find the net once again.
