Officer Presley of the Orange City Police Department in FL was the very first cop that I’ve personally encountered that can answer this question (4 out of 5 anyway nobody expects perfection). He displays a great attitude toward a citizen and has no fear of a camera which shows he feels comfortable that he has nothing to hide. This is an example of what the public “should” be able to expect from a public servant.
The boot licking types often cry “leave them alone they don’t have to answer to you” and statements like these are the picture of ignorance. Every citizen has the right of not the duty to check in on public servants and ensure the people are getting what they are paying for . “Public servant “ is not an insulting term it is a title and this means they serve the public and not the other way around. People taking on these roles know that they answer to the public and should expect public scrutiny. If the person does this job for the right reasons they would welcome these interactions for the betterment of themselves and the relation between citizens and law enforcement as a whole.
Great job Presley the people appreciate you!
