Police say two people were killed in a shooting inside a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Irving, Texas. Police said the suspect fled prior to officers arriving.
Irving police later identified the suspect as 37-year-old Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta. He was last seen driving a silver 1997 Honda 4-door vehicle. Authorities asked the public to call 911 immediately if you know his whereabouts.
Police said the shooting appeared to be targeted and was not a random act of violence. Video from SKY 4 shows police activity focused on the entrance of the parking lot. Police did not elaborate on a motive when asked by reporters.
Police said there is not a threat to the public but urged the public to avoid the area while they continue their investigation.
