Controversial Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe has screamed abuse at police officers during a protest in Melbourne.
Ms Thorpe and a small group of protesters gathered outside the Melbourne Immigration Transit Accommodation after a decision to send a dozen asylum seekers from the centre to Christmas Island was handed down.
