On March 16th, 2024, officers found an unresponsive man lying on the ground who appeared to be a victim of a hit & run, later identified as Harry Maser. Officers made multiple attempts to save the man’s life by administering CPR but unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased on scene. After a handful of days, officers arrested Stacey Marie Carey and charged her with failing to remain at a crash involving death and tempering with evidence.
