When Corrupt Cops Realize They’ve Been Arrested

We’ve talked before about crooked cops, those who take the badge then abuse the privileges for their own gain be it sexual thrills, power, money, sadism and cruelty, and even cold blooded murder. While these aren’t exactly common, it always hits harder and the betrayal is worse because if we can’t trust those who swear to protect us, who can we trust? Who do we turn to in times of danger? As a result it’s quite satisfying to see these particular bad guys, costumed as good guys, going down and getting what they so rightly deserve. Criminals after all, seldom deny they are the bad guys…. But these guys? They claim to be the heroes. Let’s watch as we see officers when they realize their number is up and they are now known to be lower than the criminals they claim to be getting off the street.
In our first case we have Michael Neely. Neely was a detective and he and his chief Johnny Miller were away for a conference. The two went out for drinks, apparently a couple of drinks turned into a whole lot more. When Neely awoke he was in police custody and was taken into the interrogation room he’d used for the last decade himself getting to the bottom of crimes. You see, Neely had been found by police in a hotel room sitting on top of Johnny Miller’s dead body and this time, Neely was not the one asking the questions. He was on the other side of the law.
