Unarmed man shot 47 times by cops after chase, attorney says

Pedro Meza, 50, was unarmed when San Gabriel police fired 47 shots and killed him at the end of a chase, according to the family’s attorneys. They’re demanding that the U.S. Department of Justice pursue criminal charges against the San Gabriel Police Department, calling the July 2024 shooting unjustified.
