Two recent attacks in Australia: police beating Muslim protesters, and a white supremacist bombing an Invasion Day rally.
This violence isn’t new. The Australian state was built on colonialism and imperialism—denying Indigenous sovereignty, harassing Muslim communities, waging wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine. The mask is slipping. The state is revealing itself as what it’s always been: a weapon the ruling class uses against anyone who resists.
When you see brown men dragged from prayer mats, when you see police charge peaceful crowds—you’re forced to choose sides. The state makes sure of that.
You don’t need to quit your job. Just refuse to belong to this Australia. Join the movements against Zionism, imperialism, capitalism. Because one day, Australia will force you to pick: fascism or liberation.
