Makueni Senator Daniel Maanzo has condemned rising police brutality, saying law enforcement should not terrorise people in churches, on roads, or at public gatherings.

Speaking in the Senate, Maanzo highlighted constitutional rights to freedom of speech and assembly, called for an end to political violence following a young man’s killing in Kitengela, and urged President Ruto and Interior CS Murkomen to prioritise protecting Kenyan lives and stopping attacks on leaders.
