Former MACC chief Latheefa Koya has appealed to the graftbusters to protect a whistleblower who exposed the Sabah mining licence corruption scandal and implicated state legislators, including Chief Minister Hajiji Noor.

Latheefa, who is also Lawyers for Liberty co-founder, said protection should be provided as the whistleblower – identified by his first name Albert – had provided clear evidence of alleged corruption, which must be promptly investigated.
