Met officers spotted a man wanted for shoplifting and robberies in Sutton town centre.
When they moved in to arrest him, he punched, kicked and even bit one of the officers in an attempt to escape.
Thanks to their quick response, he was detained and later jailed — another example of our commitment to tackling retail crime and protecting London’s communities.
