At a busy shopping center in Port Charlotte, Florida, deputies responded to a report of a woman attempting to drive away while heavily intoxicated. When officers arrived, they found her still inside her vehicle, shouting at the 911 callers who had reported her.
She showed visible signs of intoxication—including slurred speech and a strong smell of alcohol—and became physically aggressive. While being handcuffed, she kicked one deputy and attempted to assault another. Due to her combative behavior, no field sobriety test was conducted on scene.
During transport to jail, the wealthy karen targeted a female deputy, mocking her for being a public servant and ridiculing her for making too little money—a direct attempt to shame the officer based on her profession and income. Even during transport, the suspect continued to scream profanities and disrespect officers.
On the jail she continued shouting vulgar insults and responded to her Miranda rights with “Bite me.” A breathalyzer later confirmed a BAC of 0.144%, nearly twice Florida’s legal limit. She faces multiple charges including DUI, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest with violence.
This video captures the bodycam footage of the confrontation and highlights the intense challenges officers can face during DUI incidents.
