Protesters and police clashed outside the federal detention center in Los Angeles after ICE raids resulted in more than 100 arrests this week.
Here’s a statement from ICE:
“Anti-ICE rioters destroyed taxpayer-owned property around Los Angeles Jun 6. Here are more photos of the aftermath showing death threats and profane language spray painted on taxpayer-owned property and walkways littered with objects that had been hurled at federal law enforcement.
Our officers and agents continued to enforce immigration law in LA, despite the violent protesters. ICE operations in LA this week resulted 118 alien arrests, including five gang members and numerous criminal aliens.
Despite what you may be hearing, the record checks show that we arrested illegal aliens with criminal histories including:
CHILD CRUELTY
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
DRUG TRAFFICKING
ASSAULT
ROBBERY
HUMAN SMUGGLING”
