Acting Mpumalanga Police Commissioner Dr Zeph Mkhwanazi is visiting the home of slain police officer Sergeant Tshepo Mokoena.
A 39-year-old police officer, who was attached to a local police station, was shot while returning home from a shop.
The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of the slain officer and a civilian in Grootvlei.
