New York police officers, many in riot gear, responded with force and arrested over 75 pro-Palestine protesters who occupied part of Columbia University’s Butler Library on May 7, according to the Columbia Spectator.

NYPD continued clashing with protesters picketing around campus after the initial arrests were made.
