The annual May Day demo in Paris, France, turned into skirmishes and scuffles as police clashed with protesters. Around 100,000 protesters were demonstrating against the far right, and supporting workers’ rights. The route took demonstrators from Place d’italia to Place De La Nation in blazing hot sun and 30c temperatures.
