This is horrendous an NYPD captain working off duty on a paid detail assignment, at a target in NYC, aka Zoo York. That’s the highest civil service rank by test, you can obtain in the NYPD. This is the Core management position in the NYPD. This is unheard of and unprecedented treatment of an NYPD commander.
Crime is out of control. Mayor Eric Adams refuses to do anything, to help the city and it’s police force. It’s atrocious.
