New Young Thug Judge Makes Ruling on Outfit Changes, Headphones in Court

New Young Thug Judge Paige Reese Whitaker set new rules Friday regarding clothing and headphones in the YSL RICO case. Judge Whitaker said clothing changes in the trial need to be addressed and the defendants shouldn’t have headphones or airpods in during court. Whitaker also discussed minimizing disruptions in the courtroom.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
