Simon McNally is released from a psychiatric hospital where he has been for the past 10 years. He tries to find a job and start a new life, but he suffers from constant seizures and hallucinations and takes medication. One day, Simon witnesses the kidnapping of a girl, but the police don’t believe him, and his seizures prevent him from describing the kidnapper’s appearance. With the help of his neighbor, Ed Dirman, a retired campus security guard, Simon decides to find and rescue the girl on his own.
