Nadine Menendez was found guilty in her federal bribery trial, months after her husband, former Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), was convicted for similar crimes.
Prosecutors had alleged the couple were “partners in crime” as they traded political favors for cash, gold bars, and a Mercedes-Benz convertible. She was found guilty on Monday of bribery, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit those crimes, and other related counts.
