THIS is the moment a cop pursuing shoplift suspect given helping hand by Good Samaritan.
A Louisiana woman has been praised for assisting a police officer who was in need of a vehicle to chase a shoplifting suspect.
Slidell Police Department said that Sgt Jeff Kahrs was notified on November 1 of “a shoplifting in progress”. He approached the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Kelsey Baird, who ran out of the store.
Bodycam footage released by police shows Kahrs chasing Baird through the parking lot, and Baird’s accomplice, 43-year-old Eric Boudreaux, honking his horn to indicate his location. Baird gets into the passenger seat and the two flee the scene.
