Kigame seeks to sue top officials over police brutality

Presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame has filed a petition at the high court seeking permission to privately prosecute top government officials, including the Interior Cabinet Secretary, Inspector General of police, Director of Criminal Investigations, Attorney General and the National Intelligence Service Director General over alleged crimes against humanity committed during anti-government protests in 2024 and 2025.
