Shocking testimony emerged in the kidnapping and human trafficking trial of Joshlin Smith this week, including allegations of the accused allegedly being tortured into making confessions. Kelly Smith, her boyfriend, Jacquen “Boeta” Appollis and Steveno van Rhyn are on trial in the Western Cape High Court sitting in Saldanha Bay. The Grade 1 learner disappeared from the Middelpos informal settlement in February 2024.
