While driving through a relatively suburban area, I caught this moment on my dashcam: a police cruiser turns on their emergency lights to exit a station, then quickly shuts them off right after pulling onto the road. Clearly there was no emergency; this impatient jerk cop couldn’t wait 2 seconds for me to pass. Was this a justified use of the lights or just skipping ahead in traffic?
