From Respected Leader to Convicted Predator: Unmasking a Culture of Corruption

Jacob Daskal once wielded immense power as the leader of Boro Park Shomrim, a private Orthodox Jewish community patrol in Brooklyn. His deep ties to the NYPD, particularly within the 66th Precinct, allowed him to act above the law for decades.

But in 2023, his reign of terror ended when he was sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison for the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl. His conviction wasn’t just about one man’s heinous crimes—it revealed a much larger system of corruption, one that extends far beyond his personal misconduct.

Despite his conviction, many powerful figures still defend him. The same system that protected him enabled false arrests, property theft, and judicial manipulation—a system that also destroyed my life.

I am fighting to hold them accountable in my appeal against the City of New York, after my lawsuit was wrongfully dismissed through summary judgment. New evidence from Daskal’s criminal and civil cases proves that the system was rigged against me from the start.

This isn’t just my fight—this is about exposing corruption at its core.

Daskal’s Unchecked Power: How He Manipulated the NYPD

For years, Daskal ran Boro Park Shomrim as his personal empire, using his influence over the 66th Precinct to:
Shield himself from prosecution
Target rivals with fabricated charges
Manipulate police investigations
Illegally seize real estate & businesses
Silence victims through fear & intimidation

When his victim finally came forward, she wasn’t just fighting Daskal—she was fighting an entire corrupt machine that had protected him for decades.

This same machine was used to frame me in a fraudulent legal case orchestrated by Daskal and his associates to steal my real estate property at 29 Church Avenue, Brooklyn.

A Criminal Network: Who Helped Daskal?

Daskal wasn’t alone—his political and police connections ensured he remained untouchable for years.

One of his biggest public defenders is Heshy Tischler, a controversial Brooklyn figure who openly supported Daskal even after his conviction.

Tischler isn’t the only one—numerous figures in law enforcement, politics, and religious leadership worked behind the scenes to:
🚨 Suppress investigations
🚨 Block lawsuits
🚨 Intimidate witnesses
🚨 Control the legal system in favor of their own interests

This corrupt alliance is the same force I am fighting in my appeal against the City of New York.

The Civil Lawsuit Against Daskal: The Next Battle for Justice

After his criminal conviction, a $200 million civil lawsuit was filed against Daskal by his victim, Rivka Mandel. The lawsuit names other powerful figures, including:
🛑 Boro Park Shomrim
🛑 The Bobover Rebbe
🛑 Other individuals who helped cover up his crimes

This lawsuit is about more than just one case—it’s about exposing an entire system of corruption that enabled Daskal and others like him to operate with impunity for decades.

The same system that shielded him is the one that ruined my life.

The NYPD’s Role in This Corruption

The real question: Why did the NYPD protect Daskal for so long?

Despite overwhelming evidence of:
Systemic corruption
Criminal misconduct
Abuse of power

The 66th Precinct and NYPD brass continued to treat Daskal like one of their own.

The same officers who ignored his crimes were the ones who wrongfully arrested me, orchestrated my false charges, and helped steal my property.

This is not a conspiracy theory—this is a documented reality that the courts must address in my appeal.

Call for Action: What Needs to Happen Now

This fight is far from over. Here’s what needs to happen NOW:
📢 Reopen corruption investigations into NYPD’s ties to Shomrim
📢 Hold the 66th Precinct accountable for its role in covering up crimes
📢 Expose the full network of people who shielded Daskal
📢 Demand justice for all victims of NYPD-Shomrim corruption

The public needs to know the truth. The media must investigate deeper. And the legal system needs to stop protecting criminals.

I am fighting this battle not just for myself, but for everyone who has been silenced, intimidated, or falsely accused.
