The story centers on Inspector-General Muhammad Faiz, a once-principled public officer whose integrity succumbs to the temptations of power. Initially dedicated to his role, Faiz gradually engages in corruption, misusing government funds for personal luxuries and leveraging his position to secure a promotion for his unqualified friend, Fitri. This abuse of power breeds resentment among other officers, particularly Muhammad Alif, who notices irregularities in the department.
Alif, working with an auditor named Syamil, uncovers Faiz’s fraudulent activities. As they investigate, evidence mounts, sparking a media scandal. Despite Faiz’s attempts to deny the accusations, his malfeasance becomes public knowledge, leading to his arrest and downfall, along with Fitri’s demotion.
In a twist, Alif is promoted for his role in exposing Faiz, though a post-credits scene hints at deeper corruption, suggesting that Alif might be equally susceptible to the vices he condemned in Faiz. The story serves as a cautionary tale about the corrosive effects of power and the cyclical nature of corruption.
