Mumbai Police suspended four officers from Khar police station after a CCTV video surfaced showing them allegedly planting drugs on a suspect before arresting him. The video, which went viral on social media, shows two policemen frisking the suspect while one of them appears to place something on him. Following the circulation of the footage, the suspect, initially detained for possessing 20 grams of Mephedrone, was released after an inquiry. A departmental investigation into the conduct of the suspended officers is underway.
