Former Royal Malaysian Navy chief Tan Sri Ahmad Ramli Mohd Nor has been freed of three counts of criminal breach of trust involving RM21 million in the Littoral Combat Ship project scandal.

Sessions Court judge Suzana Hussin today granted an 80-year-old Ahmad Ramli a discharge not amounting to acquittal after ruling that he was unfit for trial.

His bail money will be returned.
