A Lusikisiki based police officer in the Eastern Cape that was allegedly shot and wounded by a colleague while on duty in 2023 is still demanding justice from the police ministry. 52-year old Sergent Fundisile Jwacu was hit several times in the upper leg, and now relies on crutches to move around. Jwacu alleges that they were part of a group of four policemen that were assigned to arrest a suspect at Goso village outside Lusikisiki when the incident occurred.
