A western Sydney postcode gang, considered minor in the city’s gang scene, is reportedly trying to build a name for itself—prompting police to warn about the dangerous fallout of joining the gang world.
The founding member of a Sydney drill rap group closely linked to OneFour and a number of his associates have been arrested in a series of raids involving heavily armed tactical police in the city’s west. Police had been investigating western Sydney drill rappers Section 60 and their associates since late last year, and on 1st April 2025, an operation centred around Penrith and Mount Druitt charged 11 people with various drugs and firearms offences.
NSW Police allege that Section60 the founding member Viliami Eteaki, 25, was at the centre of a drug and firearm distribution network operating across western Sydney. According to court documents, Eteaki allegedly supplied five illegal firearms for $61,500 and 812 grams of methamphetamine for over $90,000, using a web of alleged associates tied to the group.
During the raids, Investigators seized six guns, several hundred rounds of ammunition, $43,000 in cash, 3 kilograms of cocaine, 2.6 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 644 grams of cannabis, and 126 grams of MDMA. They also seized a dedicated encrypted criminal communication device, and a taser.
Eteaki was hit with 23 charges including drug and firearm supply charges and knowingly directing a criminal group, and refused bail to appear in Penrith Local Court.
