A community was on edge Tuesday night after a Warren officer was caught on video assaulting a 19-year-old. Security video caught the assault which occurred on Tuesday (June 13) at 6:08 a.m. inside the Warren Police Department Jail. The video showed Officer Matthew James Rodriguez, 48, of Southgate hitting the 19-year-old suspect, taking him to the ground.
