I’ve also recently learned something that has shaken me to my core—at just 14 years old, I had already been singled out as a target. This wasn’t random. It was calculated. The more I uncover, the clearer the picture becomes.
When Predators Hide Behind the Pulpit
One of the most dangerous places for a predator to hide is behind a position of power—especially within the church. Too often, pastors who abuse their authority use the excuse that “God has forgiven them” while continuing to harm others, manipulating their followers into silence and complicity. But true repentance requires changed behavior—not just empty words.
The abuse I’m speaking about isn’t just from 30 or 40 years ago. It has happened in recent years and could still be happening today. And the more I uncover, the clearer it becomes—this is bigger than just one victim, one story, or one moment in time.
It’s time for accountability. It’s time to stop allowing predators to hide behind the cloth.
