I bet you didn’t know that Judges enjoy absolute judicial immunity from civil lawsuits for judicial acts, unless the act is performed in the clear absence of all jurisdiction.

That means that no matter how erroneous the act, or how evil the motive, a judge cannot be sued civilly.

The Supreme Court has held that allowing such lawsuits for malicious or corrupt actions would just encourage everyone to make those allegations in order to bring their suits.
