The family of a whistleblower police said died by suicide last year filed a lawsuit against the Boeing Company in civil court Wednesday.
John Barnett’s family estate has filed a civil suit for wrongful death and abuse of process, alleging that Boeing failed to address safety issues brought up by Barnett during his time as a quality manager at the company’s North Charleston facility. Before Barnett died, a manager told him that “I’m going to push you until you break,” the filing says.
