Patiala SSP Nanak Singh confirmed that a fresh FIR has been filed against the inspectors accused of assaulting Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath. The officers have been suspended, transferred out of the state, and an SIT led by ADGP SPS Parmar will investigate the case. Punjab Police has also provided the Colonel with security cover.
