In today’s video I’m going to be talking about something a bit controversial (what’s new), and in this case, talking about how Black people are sitting this one out when it comes to the protest. I felt like everyone thought I was joking back when the elections were happening and I warned everyone that if they didn’t vote for Kamala and we had to deal with yet another Trump presidency, I’m sitting out when it comes to the advocacy work because look at how it’s biting everyone in the butt. Ya’ll thought it was cute to allow him to get back into office and not take him seriously when he said he was serious about project 2025 and the big beautiful bill. As a Black woman, I am exhausteddddddd, I’m not going to keep fighting for people who have continued to vote in my best interest all for the sake of trying to prove a point of never wanting a Black woman in power and now y’all want us to come and save ya’ll? This sis something your grandparents have been fighting against and because it didn’t affect ya’ll and now that you could see they don’t care about race anymore now everyone is up in arms. This is a normal day for Black people because this is what we’ve been trying to warn y’all about and you didn’t want to listen. No one said anything when it was Keith Porter like come onnnnn. This is giving performative, and I’m glad someone had the nerve to say the quiet part out loud. Again, everything said in this video is completely my own opinion/alleged and you don’t have to agree with it! My name is Reese and I’m currently 23 years old. In order to pursue my passion, I made the hard choice to transfer colleges and now attend St. Kates. I’m double majoring in ASL & Deaf Communities + Interpreting !! I love creating content, spirituality, and growing as a person.
My channel is going to be based around spirituality, controversial opinions and possibly some rants/exposing will be in the cards (relating to the people who run the gov and other things in that sort 🙂 ) With me also double majoring in AFRO studies + History (used to), I’m going to educate people on my channel that would not have known about the info if I didn’t say something because we all know how it goes of whitewashing black history, the truth needs to be said.
