๐จ St. Louis Police Pursuit & Arrest โ December 18, 2024
A stolen white Toyota Corolla flagged by a license plate reader triggered a high-speed pursuit through downtown St. Louis. Officers observed the vehicle violating traffic laws before it fled at dangerous speeds down Locust, Olive, Grand Blvd, and onto Interstate 64 West.
The suspects bailed out after losing control on Iโ64 near Kingshighway, fleeing on foot across lanes of traffic and into Forest Park. The driver, Devin McCollum, then doubled back, crossing all lanes of Interstate 64. Officers pursued and apprehended both individuals.
A search revealed suspected narcotics on McCollum, who was already a convicted felon on parole. McCollum was charged with the following:

– ๐ Felony Fleeing โ Creating Risk of Injury/Death
– ๐ Resisting Arrest (Felony)
– ๐ Possession of Controlled Substance
