NUP LEADERS CONDEMN POLICE BRUTALITY IN KAMPALA
Leader of Opposition Joel Senyonyi, MP Eng. Balimwezo, and traders gathered at the NUP Headquarters to strongly condemn the recent police brutality against vendors and Traders in Kampala. The protest also addressed controversial actions by businessman Hamis Kiggundu (Ham), accused of forceful evictions and destruction of property along the Nakivubo Channel as part of a redevelopment project. NUP leaders called for justice, protection of traders’ rights, and immediate government intervention.
