Former Rajasthan University student union president Nirmal Choudhary has accused Jaipur Police of custodial abuse. He claims he was arrested from an exam center by officers in civil dress, taken into custody, stripped, beaten, and mentally harassed. Choudhary also alleges that police officers threatened to falsely implicate his sisters and said he wouldn’t be released for two years. He plans to move to the High Court seeking justice and has accused the ruling BJP government of targeting him for raising public issues.
