#ACB CASE #MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER, SINGARENI COLLIERIES COMPANY LTD. (SCCL), KOTHAGUDEM, BHADRADRI KOTHAGUDEM DISTRICT IS IN ACB NET
The ACB has registered a case under Section 7A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018) against the Accused Officer (AO), Sri Annaboina Rajeswara Rao, Motor Vehicle Driver, Corporate, Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. (SCCL), Kothagudem, Bhadradri Kothagudem District for criminal misconduct. The AO misused his official position for personal financial gain by engaging in corrupt and fraudulent practices between 2021 and 2024. He exploited his influence over internal administrative processes such as transfers, promotions, recruitments, and Corporate Medical Board decisions. The allegations include collecting bribes amounting to ₹31,44,000 from various employees and job aspirants by making false promises to secure transfers, manipulate medical fitness outcomes, provide job placements, and influence promotions. These amounts were reportedly received through both cash and digital payments, often using intermediaries. The AO failed to fulfill any of the commitments made. Thus, the AO is alleged to have performed his official duties improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage. The details of the complainant are withheld due to security reasons.
Therefore, the AO, Sri Annaboina Rajeswara Rao, Motor Vehicle Driver, Corporate, Singareni Collleries Company Ltd. (SCCL), Kothagudem, Bhadradri Kothagudem District is arrested today and being produced before the Hon’ble Special Court for SPE & ACB Cases-cum-III Additional District & Sessions Judge at Warangal. The case is under investigation.
