Two Anne Arundel County police officers have been indicted in connection with a fatal crash in Pasadena a year ago in which investigators said the officers misrepresented material facts. The indictments marks the first time the Maryland Attorney General’s Office’s Independent Investigations Division has charged any officer of wrongdoing. Anne Arundel County police Officer Eddie Vasquez, 29, and Cpl. Kieran Schnell, 27, have been charged with misconduct in office, the attorney general announced Monday afternoon. The news first came out over the weekend in a statement from the Anne Arundel County police chief.
