It’s no surprise the corrupt government in Lake County (Leadville) Colorado is helping criminals perpetrate federal crimes. It’s classic small town government corruption in which these individuals think they are the law – so they think they can do whatever they want and get away with it.
The wisest thing Leadville could do right now is cease helping said criminals and own up to what they’ve done before it makes the situation worse for the city/county. There’s been a significant amount of stupidity in the Lake County government for a long time. Things need an obvious change.
