4 former cops produced in Mohali court in Moga sex scandal case
In the 2007 Moga sex scandal case, a special CBI court in Mohali convicted four former Punjab police officers on March 29, 2025. The convicted officers are :
Devinder Singh Garcha: Former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Moga.
Paramdip Singh Sandhu: Former Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) in Moga.
Raman Kumar: Former Station House Officer (SHO) of Moga City Police Station.
Amarjit Singh: Former Inspector and in-charge of Moga City Police Station
The court found them guilty under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code, including charges of corruption and extortion. The sentencing was scheduled for April 4, 2025
