Today Cyber Fraud Return Mela was organized to return the recovered amount lost by the Victims through different ways of Cyber Frauds ie through Cheating, Fraud, Impersonation, Investment Frauds, Digital arrest, UPI and Card Frauds happened through communication medium ie SMS/Email/Phone calls.- using WhatsApp, Telegram and other Social media Accounts.
– With a strong emphasis on transparency, efficiency, and victim support, we aim to foster trust and ensure that justice is served swiftly and equitably. Our mission is not only to investigate and prosecute offenders but also to educate the public on cybersecurity best practices, empowering individuals to safeguard their digital assets proactively.
HOW TO REPORT
– To freeze fraudulent transaction immediately dial 1930
– To block and report against suspected fraud numbers, report at CHAKSHU portal in www.sancharsaathi.gov.in
– Else reach out to Cyber Crime Police Station at VSS Nagar, Bhubaneswar for reporting
Messages for Public:-
1. Don’t open bank account in lure to get money easily.
2. Don’t share your bank credentials i.e. Internet Banking User ID Password, ATM card PIN, Cheque with anyone.
3. Don’t be added to any WhatsApp Group or Telegram group and start investment in Fake Trade Applications.
4. Don’t panic and give information in Digital Arrest Fraud Cases. Block it and report immediately.
5. Don’t go earning easy money through job Offers by seeing advertisements in social media and unrelied platforms.
6. Don’t click any link or download any applications sent to you. Enable 2 factor Authentication for Mail, WhatsApp account and Social Media Account.
