Wild Scene Unfolds as Teen Shoplifter’s Friend Tries to Run Over Cop

On July 22nd, 2022. Officers were called to a store regarding people who had been stealing items. Upon arrival officers arrested a 19-year-old suspect, as they were escorting her out of the store, she started running & was quickly apprehended later on. Unknowing to officers, the 19yro had a friend who was also shoplifting that had escaped, she got in her car and drove to where her friend was being apprehended and tried to hit the arresting officer in an attempt to free her friend. This is the body-cam footage of the events that followed.
