Voices of Experience: Exploring Police Brutality at Peace Tree Network’s Shadow to Strengthen Panel

The Peace Tree Network’s “Shadow to Strengthen” Exhibition featured a powerful panel discussion that brought together a diverse group of speakers, each with personal or professional experiences related to police brutality. The panel served as a platform for survivors, activists, and community leaders to share their stories and insights, fostering an open dialogue about the impact of police violence on individuals and society.

Through heartfelt accounts, the speakers highlighted the urgent need for accountability, justice, and systemic reform. Their stories underscored the resilience of those who have endured such struggles and emphasized the importance of collective action to address these pressing issues. The session inspired attendees to reflect on their roles in advocating for a fair and just society.

The panel was a cornerstone of the exhibition’s mission: to amplify voices, ignite meaningful conversations, and turn shadows of injustice into the strength needed to drive change.
