🚨 Copwatch Bakersfield | Emergency Response to Self-Harm Call

While out conducting a Copwatch, we heard a call come through the police scanner regarding a reported attempted suicide involving a man who had injured himself.

We responded to the scene to observe and document the situation, not knowing what we were going to encounter.

Upon arrival, we briefly recorded the scene and then left shortly after. The individual was already secured in a police cruiser at the time, and emergency personnel were present or responding.

From what we could observe, the situation appeared to be under control, though we understand that incidents like this can be serious and complex beyond what is visible on camera.
