After Chief Rhambo refused to investigate and reclassified it as an EEO issue, the case was taken to LAPD.
🔸 Instead of pursuing a criminal investigation, Detective Alex Jacinto at Wilshire Division interrupted the report, called it a civil matter without review, and shut it down.
📍 The case was later passed to LAPD Pacific Division, where it sat dormant for over 18 months—until public pressure forced action. In January 2025, the case was sent to ADA Bjorn E. Dodd at the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office, where it currently sits on his desk.
