Why are police officer attracted to Children Sexually?
When police officers sexually abuse children, it’s not because their profession makes them predisposed to pedophilia—but because their role gives them opportunity, authority, and access, which predators can misuse to groom or hide their actions.
A Washington Post investigation found that at least 1,800 law enforcement officers were charged with child sexual abuse between 2005 and 2022—about one every few days.
